What is included in post-construction cleaning?
Removal of construction dust from all surfaces, sticker and label removal, cabinet and millwork detail, glass cleaning, HVAC vent cleaning where accessible, full floor detail including HEPA vacuum and tile or VCT polish, restroom and kitchen first-cleaning, and high dusting.
How is rough cleanup different from final clean?
Rough cleanup is mid-project debris removal, gross trash haul, and sweep-out before drywall finish or floor installation. Final clean is the deep clean after trades are out: dust, residue, paint splatter, sticker removal, fixture wipe-down. Many projects need both.
How quickly can you respond to a construction project?
For most commercial projects, we walk the space with you or your GC at least 1 to 2 weeks before the cleaning is needed. Tight-turnaround projects (next-day handover) we accommodate when crew availability allows. Free walkthrough plus written project quote within two business days.
Do you handle tenant fit-out and renovation cleanup?
Yes. New lease build-outs, suite reconfigurations, anchor-tenant turnover, office refresh, lobby and common-area updates, restroom remodels. We schedule around the GC’s timeline.
Post-Construction Cleaning Services
When a tenant fit-out wraps up, the building is structurally complete but it is not move-in ready. Construction leaves dust on every surface, debris in every corner, fingerprints on every glass panel, and a layer of fine particulate that has worked its way into HVAC and ceiling tiles. Fraser Commercial Services handles post-construction cleaning for offices, medical buildings, retail, and commercial properties across Connecticut and Rhode Island.
What’s included in post-construction cleaning
Rough-clean after construction: heavy debris removal, vacuum and sweep, basic surface dust. Final-clean before move-in: detailed dusting of every horizontal and vertical surface, glass and window cleaning inside and out (where accessible), bathroom commissioning (sealing, polishing, full sanitation), kitchen and breakroom commissioning, hard-floor cleaning and initial polish, HVAC vent and grille cleaning, light fixture cleaning.
We coordinate with general contractors and tenant project managers so the cleaning sequence matches the construction schedule. Punch-list items get re-cleaned after they are addressed.

How post-construction cleaning is priced
Post-construction cleaning is typically quoted as a one-time fixed fee based on square footage and scope. Rough-clean rates run roughly $0.25 to 0.40 per square foot. Final-clean rates run roughly $0.40 to 0.75 per square foot, depending on detail level and finish requirements.
We do walkthroughs before quoting, because finish-level requirements vary dramatically (a Class A office is a different scope than a warehouse).
